Співробітництво київського Теософського ордену служіння з Інститутом ортопедії та травматології Національної академії медичних наук України триває вже більше року.
Багато самовідданих і висококваліфікованих спеціалістів там працюють, але державне фінансове забезпечення нажаль є дуже обмеженим. Створено реабілітаційний центр Локомоторної терапії U-рух лабораторії Нейроортопедії та Болю Інституту, що обладнаний унікальною, єдиною діючої в Україні високотехнологічною установкою "Lokomat Pro", виробництва фірми "Hokoma"(Швейцарія) для лікування і реабілітації хворих нейроортопедичного профілю. Керівниця лабораторії, професорка, заслужена лікарка України Ольга Єфремівна Юрик повідомила нам, що ця установка також придбана за кошти волонтерів та небайдужих громадян. Але неможливо було з нею повноцінно працювати, бо потрібно облаштувати палати для хворих. Ми дізналися про ці болючі проблеми і стали шукати можливості допомогти. І ось така можливість настала. На благодійні кошти Теософського ордену служіння Франції було придбано 95 метрів квадратних керамічної плитки, щоб закінчити ремонт приміщення палат. Клопоти з організації цієї допомоги взяли на себе подружжя Микола та Олена Щербини. Велика вдячність всім волонтерам ТОС за таке служіння для допомоги важкопораненим. Many dedicated and highly qualified specialists work there, but the state financial support is unfortunately very limited. The U-movement Locomotor Therapy Rehabilitation Center of the Neuroorthopedic and Pain Laboratory of the Institute was created, equipped with a unique, the only operating in Ukraine high-tech device "Lokomat Pro" manufactured by the company "Hokoma" (Switzerland) for the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with a neuro-orthopedic profile. The head of the laboratory, professor, honored doctor of Ukraine Olga Yefremivna Yuryk informed us that this installation was also purchased with the funds of volunteers and caring citizens. But it was impossible to work with her fully, because it was necessary to equip wards for patients. We learned about these painful problems and began to look for opportunities to help. And now such an opportunity has come. 95 square meters of ceramic tiles were purchased with charitable funds of the Theosophical Order of Service of France to complete the renovation of the wards.
